Air Force

HISTORY

The Air Force was originally part of the Army, known as the Army Air Corps. It became a separate branch on September 18, 1947, following World War II. The Air Force has been at the forefront of technological advancements in aviation and space exploration and plays a critical role in national security.

SEAL

This seal includes a shield with a thunderbolt and wings, symbolizing air dominance and speed. The 13 stars represent the original colonies, and the eagle signifies strength.
